Dal Prasad, with his 25 years of expertise as an Indian Restaurant Chef, and Pramesh, bringing over 10 years of experience in the food industry, have been at the helm of several successful Indian restaurants in Northern Virginia. Their ventures, namely Raaga Indian Restaurant at Falls Church, Curry House in Burke, and Curry Mantra Indian Restaurant at Fairfax, reflect their commitment to the art of Indian cuisine. With SpiceX, they venture into the world of modern, fast-casual dining without losing sight of the rich, traditional flavors that define Indian cooking.
Our story begins with our founders, a group of Indian expatriates and food enthusiasts, who missed the chaotic beauty of Indian streets and their unmistakable culinary delights. They noticed a gap in the market for quick, authentic Indian cuisine that didn't compromise on taste or authenticity. Driven by nostalgia and a passion for their culinary heritage, they embarked on a journey to recreate the magic of Indian street food in D.C.
